  | Dear Principals, Teachers, Students, and School Administrators:
We are truly saddened by the destruction and loss of life resulting from the dreadful earthquake which occurred on Monday, May 12, 2008. In response to this human tragedy, we want to reach out to the children of the Sichuan Province and give our support. All of us are deeply moved to make a difference but can feel dwarfed by enormity of the devastation. Together the education community can utilize a common channel to make a difference.
Sister Schools of San Diego, a 501 (c) 3, nonprofit organization, connects children and teachers in San Diego with their counterparts around the world, is coordinating a fund raising effort to provide humanitarian relief to the earthquake victims.
Sister Schools is partnering with the International Community Foundation headquartered in San Diego. All contributions will be administered by the International Red Cross and are exclusively dedicated to the victims of the May 12 earthquake.
Please make a donation on behalf of all the children affected by this devastating earthquake. All donations up to $100,000 will be matched by the Robert & Joyce Chang Fund at the International Community Foundation.
