Hi. My name is Danny Kiy and I am working to protect the great white sharks on Guadalupe Island from illegal fishing by supporting Mauricio Hoya's research to better understand the migratory patterns of these amazing living creatures. I recently traveled to the island to see first hand how important Mauricio's work really is.Sharks keep the ocean's food chain in balance, so we need to protect them. Most people think great white sharks are scary because of movies like "Jaws" but they really aren't. I've had a chance to swim next to great white sharks (in a cage of course) and they are very special animals and an endangered species that now needs our help.I hope you'll join me to protect the great white sharks on Guadalupe Island.
